ACADEMIC EXPERIENCE
The Lonely Robot creation, modeled on reference using maya and zbrush. Retypologized geometry for detachable animatable use, UV'd character for high texture resolution, created and applied texture maps to achieve a realistic, rusted/distressed metal. Staged, lit, and set up turntable render using Renderman.
Cobra character creation modeled on reference using ZBrush, retypologized to lower poly count for optimized animation ability specifically for the mouth, eyes, and joints. UV’d character for optimum resolution. Created and applied textures with a specific focus on the subsurface scattering of skin. Set up lighting and rendered using Arnold workflow.
The Pumpkin Mage was modeled in Maya to obtain primary forms. Secondary and tertiary details were accomplished in ZBrush. Retopology was completed in Maya using modeling toolkit and UVs unwrapped to get the ideal texel density to take advantage of the 0 to 1 space. Texture maps were performed using substance painter and applied and rendered using an Arnold render.
